DARK CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE
THIS CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE IS VERY DELICIOUS. YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME FIGURING OUT IF IT'S CHEESECAKE OR FUDGE.
List of Ingredients
- VANILLA COOKIE CRUMBS
- 5 SQUARES OF SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE
- 3 ( 8 OUNCE) SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE
- 3/4 CUPS SUGAR
- 3 LARGE EGGS
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
- 1 CUP SOUR CREAM
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 275°.
- PRESS THE VANILLA COOKIE CRUMBS EVENLY ONTO BOTTOM AND 2" UP SIDES OF A BUTTERED 9" SPRINGFORM PAN. SET ASIDE.
- MELT CHOCOLATE IN A DOUBLE BOILER OVER HOT, BUT NOT BOILING WATER. SET ASIDE TO COOL.
- BEAT CREAM CHEESE, SUGAR, EGGS AND VANILLA IN A MIXING BOWL WITH MIXER UNTIL BLENDED AND SMOOTH. STIR IN MELTED CHOCOLATE AND SOUR CREAM AND BEAT UNTIL BLENDED. POUR INTO PREPARED SPRINGFORM PAN.
- BAKE FOR 1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES. TURN OFF HEAT AND LET CAKE COOL IN OVEN WITH OVEN DOOR AJAR. REMOVE FROM OVEN TO A WIRE RACK AND COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE. REFRIGERATE.
- GARNISH WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND CHOCOLATE CURLS.
