SPREAD 1/2 OF THE BATTER IN PAN. TOP WITH APPLE SLICES. SPRINKLE WITH 1/2 OF THE PECAN MIXTURE. SPREAD REMAINING BATTER OVER SPREADING OUT EVENLY. SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING PECAN MIXTURE.
BAKE FOR 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL TESTER INSERTED COMES OUT CLEAN.
REMOVE FROM OVEN AND PLACE ON A WIRE RACK AND LET STAND FOR 30 MINUTES.
INVERT ONTO A PLATE THEN INVERT ONTO SERVING PLATTER. SPRINKLE LIGHTLY WITH POWDERED SUGAR.
