    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 CUP AND 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
    • 1/2 CUP CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR
    • 1 TABLESPOON BRANDY
    • 2 TEASPOONS WATER
    • 2 1/4 CUPS ALMONDS
    • 2 CUPS FLOUR


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
    2. CREAM BUTTER WITH POWDERED SUGAR UNTIL LIGHT. MIX IN BRANDY AND WATER, SET ASIDE.
    3. CHOP ALMONDS IN A FOOD PROCESSOR AND SET ASIDE A 1/2 CUP.
    4. ADD THE REST OF THE ALMONDS TO MIXTURE. STIR IN FLOUR AND MIX WELL.
    5. CHILL DOUGH UNTIL STIFF ENOUGH TO MOLD.
    6. SHAPE 1 TABLESLPOON OF DOUGH INTO A CRESCENT. DIP INTO ADDITIONAL RESERVED CHOPPED ALMONDS. PLACE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET AND BAKE 12 TO 15 MINUTES.
    7. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND PLACE ON A WIRE RACK TO SLIGHTLY COOL.
    8. ROLL GENTLY IN ADDITIONAL POWDERED SUGAR AFTER COOLING.
    9. 36 COOKIES
