    • 1 CUP CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR
    • OIL FOR DEEP FRYING


    Instructions


    1. CUT EACH WON TON WRAPPER INTO 2 RECTANGLES. LAY ONE RECTANGLE ON TOP OF THE OTHER TO FORM A DOUBLE THICKNESS. MAKE 3 ( 1/2") SLITS IN THE CENTER, LENGTHWISE. PULL ONE END THROUGH THE MIDDLE SLIT.
    2. DEEP FRY BUTTERFLIES UNTIL GOLDEN ABOUT 1 MINUTE OR LESS. REMOVE FROM OIL AND DRAIN ON PAPER TOWELS. SIFT CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR OVER BOTH SIDES OR COOKIES. COOL.
    3. THESE KEEP SEVERAL WEEKS IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER, IF THEY LAST THAT LONG.
