CHOCOLATE ALMOND BALLS
List of Ingredients
- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
- 2 OUNCES BAKER'S SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE
- 1 TABLESPOON MILK
- 3/4 CUP BUTTER, DO NOT SUBSTITUTE
- 1/2 CUP SUGAR
- 2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED SLIVERED BLANCHED ALMONDS
Instructions
- SIFT FLOUR WITH SALT AND SET ASIDE.
- CAREFULLY MELT CHOCOLATE AND LET IT COOL.
- CREAM THE BUTTER, SUGAR AND VANILLA IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL. BLEND IN THE COOLED CHOCOLATE. BLEND IN THE MILK.
- GRADUALLY ADD THE FLOUR MIXTURE AND MIX WELL. MIX IN THE CHOPPED ALMONDS.
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. SHAPE DOUGH INTO BALLS AND ROLL IN GRANULATED SUGAR. PUT THE BALLS APPROXIMATELY 1" APART ON AN UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET.
- BAKE THE COOKIES FOR 12 TO 15 MINUTES.
