    CHOCOLATE ALMOND BALLS


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
    • 2 OUNCES BAKER'S SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE
    • 1 TABLESPOON MILK
    • 3/4 CUP BUTTER, DO NOT SUBSTITUTE
    • 1/2 CUP SUGAR
    • 2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
    • 1/2 CUP CHOPPED SLIVERED BLANCHED ALMONDS


    Instructions


    1. SIFT FLOUR WITH SALT AND SET ASIDE.
    2. CAREFULLY MELT CHOCOLATE AND LET IT COOL.
    3. CREAM THE BUTTER, SUGAR AND VANILLA IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL. BLEND IN THE COOLED CHOCOLATE. BLEND IN THE MILK.
    4. GRADUALLY ADD THE FLOUR MIXTURE AND MIX WELL. MIX IN THE CHOPPED ALMONDS.
    5. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. SHAPE DOUGH INTO BALLS AND ROLL IN GRANULATED SUGAR. PUT THE BALLS APPROXIMATELY 1" APART ON AN UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET.
    6. BAKE THE COOKIES FOR 12 TO 15 MINUTES.
