    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1/2 CUP UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER
    • 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1/4 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
    • 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
    • 1/2 CUP BUTTER
    • 1 CUP SUGAR
    • 1 EGG
    • 1 1/2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
    • 1 CUP SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
    • 4 TABLESPOONS MILK


    Instructions


    1. IN A BOWL, COMBINE FLOUR, COCOA, SALT, BAKING SODA AND BAKING POWDER, SET ASIDE.
    2. IN ANOTHER BOWL, BEAT SUGAR AND BUTTER TOGETHER UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. BEAT IN EGG AND VANILLA EXTRACT, ADD THE DRY INGREDIENTS, MIXING WELL.
    3. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°
    4. SHAPE DOUGH INTO 1" BALLS. PLACE THE BALLS 2 INCHES APART ON AN UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET.
    5. PUSH IN THE CENTER OF EACH BALL WITH YOUR THUMB TO MAKE AN INDENTATION.
    6. HEAT CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND MILK IN SAUCEPAN UNTIL THE CHOCOLATE IS MELTED. STIR THIS MIXTURE UNTIL SMOOTH.
    7. SPOON THE MELTED CHOCOLATE INTO EACH INDENTATION. BAKE 10 TO 12 MINUTES ( COOKIES SHOULD LOOK DRY)
    8. COOL ON WIRE RACK.
