RICOTTA COOKIES
THESE COOKIES ARE DELICIOUS AND VERY TASTY. ONE COULD CALL THEM TEA CAKES BECAUSE OF THE TEXTURE AND TASTE. THIS RECIPE WAS OFF A RICOTTA CHEESE CONTAINER.THIS IS A VERY POPULAR COOKIE IN MY HOUSE.
List of Ingredients
- 1/4 LB. BUTTER, SOFTENED
- 1/4 CUP RICOTTA CHEESE
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
- 1 CUP SUGAR`1 EGG
- 2 CUPS SIFTED FLOUR
- 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
Instructions
- BEAT RICOTTA CHEESE AND SOFTENED BUTTER UNTIL CREAMY. ADD VANILLA, AND MIX WELL. ADD SUGAR GRADUALLY, BEATING UNTIL WELL BLENDED ADD EGG AND MIX WELL.
- SIFT TOGETHER THE FLOUR, BAKING SODA AND SALT AND ADD TO CHEESE MIXTURE AND BEAT TILL INCORPORATED.
- DROP FROM A TEASPOON ONTO A GREASED COOKIE SHEET.
- BAKE IN A 350° OVEN FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES.
