    THESE COOKIES ARE DELICIOUS AND VERY TASTY. ONE COULD CALL THEM TEA CAKES BECAUSE OF THE TEXTURE AND TASTE. THIS RECIPE WAS OFF A RICOTTA CHEESE CONTAINER.THIS IS A VERY POPULAR COOKIE IN MY HOUSE.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 LB. BUTTER, SOFTENED
    • 1/4 CUP RICOTTA CHEESE
    • 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
    • 1 CUP SUGAR`1 EGG
    • 2 CUPS SIFTED FLOUR
    • 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
    • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT


    Instructions


    1. BEAT RICOTTA CHEESE AND SOFTENED BUTTER UNTIL CREAMY. ADD VANILLA, AND MIX WELL. ADD SUGAR GRADUALLY, BEATING UNTIL WELL BLENDED ADD EGG AND MIX WELL.
    2. SIFT TOGETHER THE FLOUR, BAKING SODA AND SALT AND ADD TO CHEESE MIXTURE AND BEAT TILL INCORPORATED.
    3. DROP FROM A TEASPOON ONTO A GREASED COOKIE SHEET.
    4. BAKE IN A 350° OVEN FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES.
