- 3 LBS. LEAN CHUCK OR ARM ROAST
- 1 CUP BOTTLED BBQ SAUCE
- 3/4 CUPS WATER
- 1 TABLESPOON DRIED ONION FLAKES
- 1 PKG. HAMBURGER OR SANDWICH BUNS
- SLICED RED ONION
- SLICED DILL PICKLES
Instructions
- TRIM ROAST OF ALL VISIBLE FAT. PLACE IN CROCKPOT AND ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS, EXCEPT FOR RED ONION AND DILL PICKLES.
- COVER AND COOK ON LOW FOR 6 TO 8 HOURS OR UNTIL MEAT IS VERY TENDER. USING TWO FORKS, SHRED THE MEAT INTO BITE SIZE PIECES.
- TURN THE HEAT TO HIGH AND COOK FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES LONGER UNTIL SAUCE IS REDUCED.
- SERVE ON BUNS WITH SLICED ONIONS AND SLICED DILL PICKLES.
