    SOUR CREAM PUMPKIN PIE


    List of Ingredients


    • 9" DEEP DISH PIE SHELL
    • 2 LARGE EGGS, LIGHTLY BEATEN
    • 15 OUNCE CAN LIBBY'S 100% PURE PUMPKIN PUREE
    • 14 OUNCE CAN NESTLE CARNATION SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
    • 1 TABLESPOON PUMPKIN PIE SPICES
    • 2 TEASPOONS GRATED ORANGE PEEL
    • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
    • *****************************************************************************
    • SOUR CREAM ORANGE TOPPING:
    • 1 1/4 CUPS SOUR CREAM
    • 2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
    • 2 TEASPOONS THAWAED FROZEN ORANGE JUICE CONCENTRNATE FOR ORANGE FLAVORED LIQUEUR
    • 1/2 TEASPOON GRATED ORANGE PEEL


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 425°.

    2. COMBINE EGGS, PUMPKIN, SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, PUMPKIN PIE SPICES, ORANGE PEEL AND SALT IN A MEDIUM BOWL, MIXING WELL. POUR INTO PIE SHELL.

    3. BAKE FOR 15 MINUTES. REDUCE OVEN TEMPERATURE TO 350°. AND BAKE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 30 TO 35 MINUTES OR UNTIL CAKE TESTER OR KNIFE INSERTED NEAR CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND COOL 10 MINUTES ON A WIRE RACK.

    4. SPREAD WITH SOUR CREAM ORANGE TOPPING, BAKE FOR 8 MINUTES. COOL COMPLETELY ON WIRE RACK

    5. SOUR CREAM ORANGE TOPPING:COMBINE SOUR CREAM, SUGAR, ORANGE JUICE OR LIQUEUR AND GRATED ORANGE PEEL IN A SMALL BOWL.

    6. 8 SERVINGS
