- 9" DEEP DISH PIE SHELL
- 2 LARGE EGGS, LIGHTLY BEATEN
- 15 OUNCE CAN LIBBY'S 100% PURE PUMPKIN PUREE
- 14 OUNCE CAN NESTLE CARNATION SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
- 1 TABLESPOON PUMPKIN PIE SPICES
- 2 TEASPOONS GRATED ORANGE PEEL
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT

- SOUR CREAM ORANGE TOPPING:
- 1 1/4 CUPS SOUR CREAM
- 2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
- 2 TEASPOONS THAWAED FROZEN ORANGE JUICE CONCENTRNATE FOR ORANGE FLAVORED LIQUEUR
- 1/2 TEASPOON GRATED ORANGE PEEL
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 425°.
- COMBINE EGGS, PUMPKIN, SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, PUMPKIN PIE SPICES, ORANGE PEEL AND SALT IN A MEDIUM BOWL, MIXING WELL. POUR INTO PIE SHELL.
- BAKE FOR 15 MINUTES. REDUCE OVEN TEMPERATURE TO 350°. AND BAKE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 30 TO 35 MINUTES OR UNTIL CAKE TESTER OR KNIFE INSERTED NEAR CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND COOL 10 MINUTES ON A WIRE RACK.
- SPREAD WITH SOUR CREAM ORANGE TOPPING, BAKE FOR 8 MINUTES. COOL COMPLETELY ON WIRE RACK
- SOUR CREAM ORANGE TOPPING:COMBINE SOUR CREAM, SUGAR, ORANGE JUICE OR LIQUEUR AND GRATED ORANGE PEEL IN A SMALL BOWL.
