    COCOA CAPPUCCINO MOUSSE


    List of Ingredients


    • 14 OUNCE CAN SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
    • 1/3 CUP COCOA
    • 3 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
    • 2 TEASPOONS POWDERED INSTANT ESPRESSO OR COFFEE, DISSOLVED IN 2 TEASPOONS HOT WATER
    • 2 CUPS ( 1 PINT) COLD WHIPPING CREAM


    Instructions


    1. COMBINE SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, COCOA, BUTTER AND COFFEE IN A MEDIUM SAUCEPAN. COOK OVER LOW HEAT, STIRRING CONSTANTLY, UNTIL BUTTER MELTS AND MIXTURE IS SMOOTH. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND COOL.

    2. BEAT WHIPPING CREAM IN A LARGE BOWL UNTIL STIFF. GRADUALLY FOLD CHOCOLATE MIXTURE INTO WHIPPED CREAM.

    3. SPOON INTO DESSERT DISHES AND REFRIGERATE UNTIL SET, APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS.

    4. 8 SERVINGS SOURCE: A HOME BAKERY



    Final Comments


    THIS MOUSSE IS WONDERFUL. YOU CAN ALSO LAYER THE MOUSSE WITH FRESH WHIPPED CREAM IN PARFAIT GLASSES, SPRIKLED WITH SHAVED SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE AND TOPPED OFF WITH A MARASCHINO CHERRY.
