    STRAWBERRY MOUSSE

    IF YOU LIKE MOUSSE AS MUCH AS I DO, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU. IT IS DELICIOUS AND VERY TASTY.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 ENVELOPE UNFLAVORED GELATIN
    • 1/4 CUP ORANGE JUICE
    • 3 CUPS FRESH STRAWBERRIES
    • 1/4 CUP CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
    • 1/3 CUP WHIPPING CREAM
    • 4 EGG WHITES
    • 1/4 CUP SUGAR


    Instructions


    1. SPRINKLE THE GELATIN OVER THE ORANGE JUICE IN A MEDIUM SAUCEPAN. LET IT STAND 5 MINUTES TO SOFTEN. WARM OVER LOW HEAT UNTIL GELATIN HAS DISSOLVED.

    2. HULL STRAWBERRIS AND PLACE IN A FOOD PROCESSOR OR BLENDER. ADD SUGAR AND PROCESS JUST UNTIL PUREED.

    3. TRANSFER TO A MIXING BOWL AND STIR IN GELATIN MIXTURE. REFRIGERATE UNTIL MIXTURE IS THE CONSISTENCY OF RAW EGG WHITES.

    4. WHIP CREAM AND SET ASIDE.

    5. IN A LARGE BOWL, BEAT EGG WHITES UNTIL SOFT PEAKS FORM. WHISK ABOUT 1/4 OF BEATEN EGG WHITES INTO STRAWBERRY MIXTURE.

    6. FOLD IN STRAWBERRY MIXTURE AND WHIPPED CREAM INTO REMAINING BEATEN WHITES.

    7. POUR INTO 6 DESSERT GLASS SERVING BOWLS AND REFRIGERATE AT LEAST 4 HOURS OR UP TO SEVERAL DAYS.

    8. GARNISH WITH FRESH STRAWBERRIES. 6 SERVINGS
