ALMOND FUDGE TRUFFLES
I MAKE THESE TRUFFLES FOR THE HOLIDAYS EVERY YEAR. I PUT THEM IN DECORATIVE TINS ALONG WITH THE RECIPE.
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 CUP PLUS 2 TABLESPOONS UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER
- 1 CUP SIFTED CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR
- 1/2 CUP CREAM CHEESE, SOFTENED
- 1/2 TEASPOON ALMOND EXTRACT
Instructions
- RESERVE 2 TABLESPOONS COCOA POWDER, SET ASIDE.
- IN A FOOD PROCESSOR OR ELECTRIC MIXER ON HIGH SPEED, COMBINE COFECTIONERS' SUGAR, 1/2 CUP COCOA POWDER, CREAM CHEESE AND ALMOND EXTRACT, PROCESSING UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
- DROP CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE BY ROUNDED TEASPOONFULS INTO THE RESERVED COCOA POWDER, ROLL INTO BALLS, PLACE ON A LINED BAKING SHEET AND REFRIGERATE.
