    BAKED APPLE DUMPLINGS


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
    • 4 MEDIUM THINLY SLICED GRANNY SLMITH APPLES
    • 12 CANNED BISCUITS
    • 1 CUP LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
    • 1 TEASPOON CINNAMON
    • 1 STICK BUTTER OR MARGARINE
    • 2 CUPS OF 7 UP SODA OR ORANGE JUICE


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. BUTTER OR SPRAY WITH VEGETABLE SPRAY A CASSEROLE DISH. SET ASIDE.
    2. SPRINKLE SUGAR OVER SLICED APPLES. ROLL OUT BISCUIT DOUGH AND PLACE APPLE SLICES ON BISCUITS, PINCH DOUGH UP AROUND THE APPLES.
    3. LAY DUMPLINGS IN PREPARED CASSEROLE DISH.
    4. MIX BROWN SUGAR, CINNAMON, BUTTER AND SODA OR JUICE IN A SAUCEPAN AND BRING TO A BOIL, WHILE STIRRING. POUR MIXTURE OVER DUMPLINGS AND BAKE FOR 30 MINUTES. SERVE WARM SPRINKLED LIGHTLY WITH POWDERED SUGAR.
    5. SERVES 12.
