CHERRY COBBLER

- 21 OUNCE CAN OF CHERRY PIE FILLING
- 1/2 TEASPOON PURE ALMOND EXTRACT
- 3 TABLESPOONS BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 3/4 CUP FLOUR
- 1 TABLESPOON AND 2 TEASPOONS SUGAR
- 1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
- DASH OF NUTMEG
- 1/8 TEASPOON SALT
- 1 EGG
- 3 TABLESPOONS MILK
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°.
- MIX CHERRY PIE FILLING WITH EXTRACT IN A BOWL, POUR INTO A 1 1/2 QUART CASSEROLE DISH.
- CUT BUTTER INTO FLOUR, SUGARS, BAKING POWDER, NUTMEG AND SALT, ADD EGG AND MILK, MIXING JUST UNTIL BLENDED. SPOON OVER CHERRY PIE FILLING.
- BAKE IN OVEN FOR 30 MINUTES. SERVE WARM WITH A SCOOP OF VANILLA ICE CREAM.
