    List of Ingredients


    • 21 OUNCE CAN OF CHERRY PIE FILLING
    • 1/2 TEASPOON PURE ALMOND EXTRACT
    • 3 TABLESPOONS BUTTER OR MARGARINE
    • 3/4 CUP FLOUR
    • 1 TABLESPOON AND 2 TEASPOONS SUGAR
    • 1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
    • DASH OF NUTMEG
    • 1/8 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1 EGG
    • 3 TABLESPOONS MILK


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°.
    2. MIX CHERRY PIE FILLING WITH EXTRACT IN A BOWL, POUR INTO A 1 1/2 QUART CASSEROLE DISH.
    3. CUT BUTTER INTO FLOUR, SUGARS, BAKING POWDER, NUTMEG AND SALT, ADD EGG AND MILK, MIXING JUST UNTIL BLENDED. SPOON OVER CHERRY PIE FILLING.
    4. BAKE IN OVEN FOR 30 MINUTES. SERVE WARM WITH A SCOOP OF VANILLA ICE CREAM.

    5. 4 TO 6 SERVINGS
