List of Ingredients
1 1/2 CUPS INSTANT RICE
3 CUPS WATER
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
1 ( 15 OUNCE CAN) SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
1/2 CUP RAISINS ( OPTIONAL)
1/2 CUP BUTTER
1 TABLESPOON VANILLA
Instructions
PLACE RICE AND WATER IN A POT AND BRING TO A BOIL, REDUCE HEAT TO A SIMMER AND COOK COVERED FOR 15 MINUTES. MIX IN MILK, RAISINS AND BUTTER. COOK AT MEDIUM HIGH HEAT FOR 20 MINUTES, STIRRING CONSTANTLY. MIXTURE WILL THICKEN SLIGHTLY.
REMOVE FROM HEAT AND STIR IN VANILLA. AS THIS COOLS IT THICKENS EVEN MORE. SPOON INTO PARFAIT GLASSES. REFRIGERATE TILL READY TO SERVE.
