- 10 ( 10" ) FLOUR TORTILLAS
- 2 TEASPOONS MELTED BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 1 CAN ( 21 OUNCE ) PIE FILLING, YOUR CHOICE
- 1 ( 12 OUNCE TUB ) SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE
Instructions
- LIGHTLY BRUSH ONE SIDE OF TORTILLA WITH BUTTER OR MARGARINE. SPREAD THE TORTILLA WITH A THIN LAYER OF CREAM CHEESE. SPREAD ABOUT 1/4 CUP OF PIE FILLING ON ONE HALF OF THE TORTILLA, THEN FOLD THE TORTILLA IN HALF, PRESSING SLIGHTLY TO SEAL THE EDGES.
- IN A LARGE SKILLET ON MEDIUM LOW HEAT, COOK THE TORTILLA UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED, ABOUT 4 MINUTES, TURN AND BROWN THE OTHER SIDE.
- DUST WITH CONFECTIONERS' OR CINNAMON SUGAR. SERVE HOT
- EACH QUESADILLA MAY BE SERVED WHOLE OR CUT INTO 3 OR 4 WEDGES.
