    List of Ingredients


    • 1 PACKAGE SPICE CAKE MIX
    • 3/4 CUP ROOT BEER
    • 4 EGGS
    • 1/3 CUP COOKING OIL
    • 3.4 OUNCE PACKAGE INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING MIX
    • 2 ENVELOPES DREAM WHIP
    • 1 CUP ICE COLD ROOT BEER
    • 1 TEASPOON VANILLA


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. GREASE AND FLOUR TWO 9" ROUND CAKE PANS.
    2. BEAT THE CAKE MIX, 3/4 CUP ROOT BEER, EGGS, OIL AND PUDDING MIX IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
    3. BAKE THE CAKE PANS AS DIRECTED ON BACK OF PACKAGE.
    4. CHILL CAKES FOR EASY SPLITTING LAYERS. SPLIT EACH LAYER INTO 2 THIN LAYERS. SET ASIDE.
    5. COMBINE DREAM WHIP, ICE COLD ROOT BEER AND VANILLA IN A CHILLED BOWL. BEAT AS DIRECTED ON PACKAGE.
    6. SPREAD 1 CUP FILLING BETWEEN LAYERS OF CAKE WITH REMAINING ON TOP.
    7. SERVE IMMEDIATELY OR STOR IN REFRIGERATOR UNTIL READY TO SERVE.
