DIABETIC CITRUS ICE
List of Ingredients
- 1/4 CUP SUGAR SUBSTITUTE
- 1 CUP EACH UNSWEETENED ORANGE AND GRAPEFRUIT JUICES
- 1 CUP WATER
- 1 ENVELOPE UNFLAVORED GELATIN
- 1/4 CUP LEMON JUICE
Instructions
- COMBINE SUGAR SUBSTITUTE, WATER AND GELATIN IN A SAUCEPAN. BRING TO A BOIL, REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 5 MINUTES. COOL SLIGHTLY AND THEN ADD IN THE JUICES.
- TRANSFER TO ICE CREAM MACHINE AND FREEZE ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURER'S DIRECTIONS.
- IF YOU DON'T HAVE A ICE CREAM MACHINE, YOU CAN TRANSFER TO FREEZER TRAYS AND FREEZE UNTIL MUSHY. SCRAPE INTO A MIXING BOWL AND BEAT UNTIL JUST LOOSENED. RETURN TO FREEZER TRAYS.
