    • 10 OUNCE PACKAGE FROZEN SLICED STRAWBERRIES, THAWED
    • 1 TABLESPOON CORNSTARCH
    • 2 TABLESPOONS RED CURRANT JELLY
    • 1/4 TEASPOON ALMOND EXTRACT


    Instructions


    1. PLACE STRAWABERRIES IN BLENDER AND PROCESS UNTIL SMOOTH, STOPPING ONCE TO SCRAPE DOWN SLIDES.
    2. POUR PUREED STRAWBERRIES THROUGH A WIRE MESH STRAINER INTO A BOWL, DISCARDING SEEDS.
    3. COMBINE CORNSTARCH, JELLY AND ALMOND EXTRACT IN A SMALL SAUCEPAN, STIRRING UNTIL CORNSTARCH DISSOLVES, STIR IN STRAWBERRY PUREE.
    4. COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT, STIRRING CONSTANTLY, UNTIL MIXTURE COMES TO A BOIL. BOIL 1 MINUTE STIRRING CONSTANTLY. COVER AND CHILL IN REFRIGERATOR.
    5. YIELDS: 3/4 CUPS
