- 10 OUNCE PACKAGE FROZEN SLICED STRAWBERRIES, THAWED
- 1 TABLESPOON CORNSTARCH
- 2 TABLESPOONS RED CURRANT JELLY
- 1/4 TEASPOON ALMOND EXTRACT
Instructions
- PLACE STRAWABERRIES IN BLENDER AND PROCESS UNTIL SMOOTH, STOPPING ONCE TO SCRAPE DOWN SLIDES.
- POUR PUREED STRAWBERRIES THROUGH A WIRE MESH STRAINER INTO A BOWL, DISCARDING SEEDS.
- COMBINE CORNSTARCH, JELLY AND ALMOND EXTRACT IN A SMALL SAUCEPAN, STIRRING UNTIL CORNSTARCH DISSOLVES, STIR IN STRAWBERRY PUREE.
- COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT, STIRRING CONSTANTLY, UNTIL MIXTURE COMES TO A BOIL. BOIL 1 MINUTE STIRRING CONSTANTLY. COVER AND CHILL IN REFRIGERATOR.
