CORNBREAD AND SAUSAGE STUFFING

- 6 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
- 1 CUP EACH CHOPPED ONION AND CELERY
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED GREEN BELL PEPPER
- 2 TEASPOONS POULTRY SEASONING
- 1 1/2 TEASPOON THYME LEAVES
- 1 TEASPOON GARLIC POWDER
- 10 CUPS COOKED AND CRUMBLED CORNBREADD
- 1/2 LB. SAUSAGE COOKED AND CRUMBLED ( NOT ITALIAN )
- 13 3/4 OUNCE CHICKEN BROTH
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
- IN A LARGE SKILLET, MELT BUTTER, ADD ODNION, CELERY AND BELL PEPPER, SAUTE 5 MINUTES. STIR IN POULTRY SEASONING, THYME AND GARLIC POWDER.
- COMBINE CORNBREAD, VEGETABLE MIXTURE AND SAUSAGE. ADD BROTH, TOSS GENTLY.
- SPOON INTO A 13 X 9" BAKING DISH. BAKE FOR 30 TO 35 MINUTES.
