CRANBERRY APPLE STUFFING
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 CUP BUTTER
- 2 CUPS CHOPPED CELERY
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONION
- 1 TEASPOON THYME LEAVES
- 1 TEASPOON PARSLEY FLAKES
- 1 TEASPOON ROSEMARY LEALVES
- 2 RED TART APPLES, CORED AND CHOPPEDD
- 1 1/4 CUPS DRIED CRANBERRIES
- 1 TEASPOON FRESH GRATED ORANGE PEEL, OPTIONAL
- 4 CUPS UNSEASONED DRY BREAD CUBES
- 1 CUP CHICKEN BROTH
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
- IN A LARGE SKILLET, MELT BUTTER. ADD CELERY AND ONION, SAUTE 5 MINUTES.
- REMOVE FROM HEAT, STIR IN NEXT 5 INGREDIENTS AND ORANGE PEEL IF DESIRED.
- PLACE BREAD CUBES IN A LARGE BOWL, STIR IN FRUIT MIXTURE. ADD BROTH, TOSS TO COMBINE.
- PLACE IN A 13 X 9" BAKING DISH. COVER AND BAKE FOR 35 TO 40 MINUTES.
- MAKES 8 CUPS.
