    PARMESAN HERB BREAD


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 CUP SOUR CREAM
    • 1/3 CUP MILK
    • 3 TABLESPOONS MELTED BUTTER
    • 2 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1 TABLESOON SUGAR
    • 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
    • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1/3 CUP GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
    • 1 TABLESPOON MINCED ONION
    • 2 TEASPOON ITALIAN SEASONING
    • 1 EGG WHITE, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
    • ADDITIONAL PARMESAN CHEESE AND ITALIAN SEASONING


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
    2. IN A SMALL BOWL, COMBINE SOUR CREAM, MILK AND BUTTER, SET ASIDE.
    3. IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE NEXT 7 INGREDIENTS. STIR IN SOUR CREAM MIXTURE UNTIL MOISTENED.
    4. PLACE DOUGH ONTO LIGHTLY FLOURED SURFACE, KNEAD UNTIL SMOOTH, ABOUT 1 MINUTE.
    5. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO TWO ROUND LOAVES. PLACE LOAVES ON GREASED COOKIE SHEET.
    6. BRUSH TOPS OF LOAVES WITH EGG WHITE, SPRINKLE WITH ADDITIONAL PARMESAN AND ITALIAN SEASONING.
    7. CUT AN X ABOUT 1/2" THROUGH TOP OF EACH LOAF.
    8. BAKE 30 TO 35 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
    9. MAKES 2 LOAVES.
