- 1 TEASPOON OLIVE OIL
- 3 GARLIC CLOVES, CRUSHEDDD
- D3 CUPS TOMATO SAUCE
- 1 TABLESLPOON ITALIAN SEASONING
- 1/4 TEASPOON PEPPER
- 1 1/2 CUPS RICOTTA CHEESE
- 4 1/2 OUNCED GRATED MOZZARELLA CHEESE
- 3/4 CUPS GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
- 1 EGG LIGHTLY BEATEN
- 1/4 CUP FRESH CHOPPED PARSLEY
- 12 AL DENTE COOKED MANICOTTI SHELLS
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.SPRAY A 9 X 13" BAKING PAN WITH VEGETABLE COOKING SPRAY.
- IN A LARGE NONSTICK SKILLET, HEAT OIL, ADD GARLIC AND SAUTE OVER MEDIUM HEAT TWO MINUTES OR JUST UNTIL GOLDEN.
- ADD TOMATO SAUCE, ITALIAN SEASONING AND PEPPER, STIR TO MIX WELL. REDUCE HEAT TO LOW, SIMMER, COVERED STIRRING OCCASIONALLY ABOUT 15 MINUTES.
- IN A MEDIUM BOWL, COMBINE RICOTTA CHEESE, MOZZARELLA CHEESE, PARMESAN CHEESE, EGG AND PARSLEY.
- FILL MANICOTTI SHELLS WITH EQUAL AMOUNT OF CHEESE MIXTURE. ARRANGE SHELLS IN PREPARED BAKING PAN.
- POUR PREPARED SAUCE OVER SHELLS AND BAKE 30 TO 40 MINUTES.
