    THIS IS A SUBSTITUTION FOR BISQUICK MIX.


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1 TABLESPOON BAKING POWDER
    • 1 TABLESPOON SALT
    • 2 TEASPOONS CREAM OF TARTAR
    • 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
    • 1 1/2 CUPS INSTANT NONFAT DRY MILK
    • 2 1/4 CUPS VEGETABLE SHORTENING


    Instructions


    1. SIFT TOGETHER ALL DRY INGREDIENTS. PLACE IN A FOOD PROCESSOR AND ADD SHORTENING, PULSE A COUPLE OF TIMES UNTIL MIXTURE RESEMBLES A CORNMEAL TEXTURE.
    2. PLACE MIXTURE IN A LARGE AIRTIGHT CONTAINER. LABEL AND STORE IN A COOL DRY PLACE.
    3. USE WITHIN 10 TO 12 WEEKS.
    4. MAKES ABOUT 13 CUPS OF QUICK BAKING MIX.
