- 2 TABLESPOONS PARSLEY FLAKESS
- 1 TABLESPOON OREGANO
- 1 TABLESPOON MARJORAM
- 1 TABLESPOON THYME
- 2 TEASPOON ROSEMARY
- 1 TEASPOON GARLIC SALT
- 1 TEASPOON ONION SALT
- 1 TABLESPOON CELERY SALT
- 1 TABLESPOON GINGER, OPTIONAL
- 1 TEASPOON PEPPER
- 1 TEASPOON SAGE
- 1 TABLESPOON PAPRIKA
Instructions
- COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS MIXING WELL. PLACE IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER AND STORE IN A COOL DRY PLACE.
- USE WITHIN 6 MONTH. MAKES ABOUT 1/2 CUP OF MIX.

1 1/2 TEASPOONS OF CHICKEN COATING MIX
3/4 CUPS FLOUR
1/4 CUP INSTANT NONFAT DRY MILK
2 TEASPOONS SUGAR
1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
L2/3 CUP HOT WATER
2 TABLESPOONS VEGETABLE OIL
2 1/2 TO 3 LB FRYER CHICKEN, CUT UP
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 425°.
COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT CHICKEN IN A SMALL BOWL, BLENDING WELL.
- DIP CHICKEN PIECES IN BATTER AND PLACE ON A BAKING SHEET. BAKE UNCOVERED 40 TO 50 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN AND TENDER.
- VARIATION: DIP CHICKEN PIECES IN BATTER AND THEN FRY IN HOT OIL.
YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE 1 CUP OF PANCAKE MIX FOR THE FLOUR, DRY MILK, SUGAR, BAKING POWDER AND SALT.
