EASY SALISBURY STEAKS
List of Ingredients
- 1 LB GROUND BEEF
- 1/3 CUP PEPPERIDGE FARM HERB SEASONED STUFFING MIX CRUSHED
- 2 TABLESPOONS CHOPPED ONION
- 1 BEATEN EGG
- 1 TABLESLPOON VEGETABLE OIL
- 12 OUNCE JAR PEPPERIDGE FARM HEARTY BEEF GRAVY
- 4 1/2 OUNCE SLICED MUSHROOMS DRAINED
- 4 CUPS HOT MASHED POTATOES
Instructions
- COMBINE BEEF, STUFFING, ONION AND EGG THOROUGHLY. SHAPE FIRMLY INTO 4 PATTIES, 1/2" THICK.
- IN A SKILLET OVER MEDIUM HIGH HEAT, ADD 1 TABLESPOON VEGETABLE OIL. ADD PATTIES AND COOK 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL BROWNED . REMOVE FROM PAN AND SET PATTIES ASIDE AND POUR OFF FAT.
- ADD GRAVY AND MUSHROOM TO SKILLET AND HEAT TO A BOIL. RETURN PATTIES TO PAN.
- REDUCE HEAT TO LOW. COVER AND COOK 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL PATTIES ARE NO LONGER PINK ( 160°).
- SERVE WITH MASHED POTATOES.
