CARMEL CINNAMON MUFFINS
List of Ingredients
- 3 TABLESPOONS BUTTER, SWEET
- 2/3 CUP BROWN SUGAR, PACKED
- 2 CUPS SIFTED FLOUR, MEASURE AFTER SIFTING
- 3 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
- 1 TEASPOON CINNAMON
- 1 EGG
- 1 CUP MILK
- 2 TABLESPOONS MELTED SHORTENING
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 425°. GREASE MUFFIN PANS AND PLACE 1/2 TEASPOON OF BUTTER AND 1 TEASPOON BROWN SUGAR IN EACH CUP. SET ASIDE.
- SIFT FLOUR BAKING POWDER, SALT AND CINNAMON IN A BOWL.
- BEAT EGG, ADD MILK, SHORTENING AND REMAINING 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR. ADD TO SIFTED DRY INGREDIENTS, STIRRING ONLY ENOUGH TO DAMPEN ALL THE DRY INGREDIENTS.
- FILL PREPARED MUFFIN PANS 3/4 FULL AND BAKE FOR 20 MINUTES..
