CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE MUFFINS
CALLING ALL CHOCOHOLICS TO COME AND SAVOR THIS WONDERFUL CHOCOLATE MUFFIN. IF YOU LOVE CHOCOLATE AS MUCH AS I DO, THAN THIS ONE IS FOR YOU.
List of Ingredients
- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 2 1/12 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
- 3 TABLESPOONS COCOA POWDER
- 2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
- 1 CUP MINI CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 1 EGG, BEATEN
- 1/2 CUP F/F-L/F OR OR REGULAR SOUR CREAM
- 3/4 CUPS OF 2% MILK
- 1/3 CUP OF MELTED BUTTER OR MARGARINE
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°. PLACE PAPER CUPS INTO A 12 HOLE MUFFIN TIN. LIGHTLY SPRAY EACH PAPER CUP WITH VEGETABLE COOKING SPRAY.
- IN A LARGE BOWL, MIX THE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER AND COCOA POWDER. ADD THE SUGAR AND CHOCOLATE CHIPS, STIR TO COMBINE WELL.
- IN ANOTHER BOWL, MIX TOGETHER THE EGG, SOUR CREAM, MILK AND MELTED BUTTER OR MARGARINE, UNTIL INCORPORATED. ADD TO DRY INGREDIENTS ALL AT ONCE AND STIR JUST UNTIL MIXED, THE BATTER SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY LUMPY.
- SPOON THE BATTER INTO THE MUFFIN CUPS. BAKE FOR APPROXIMATELY 12 TO 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE MUFFINS ARE FIRM TO THE TOUCH.
- REMOVE MUFFINS FROM THE TINS AND COOL COMPLETELY ON A WIRE RACK.
