    • 1/4 CUP FLOUR
    • 1/4 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
    • 1/4 TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON
    • 2 TABLESPOONS MELTED BUTTER
    • 1/4 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
    • *******************************************************************************
    • 2 CUPS SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS, DIVIDED
    • 1/3 CUP MILK
    • 3 TABLESLPOONS BUTTER
    • 1 CUP FLOUR
    • 2 TABLESLPOONS SUGAR
    • 2 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
    • 1/4 TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON
    • 3/4 CUPS CHOPPED PECANS
    • 1 EGG
    • 1/2 TEASPOON VANILLA


    Instructions


    1. IN A BOWL, COMBINE FLOUR, BROWN SUGAR, CINNAMON AND BUTTER WITH A FORK OR WITH YOUR FINGERS UNTIL MIXTURE RESEMBLES COARSE CRUMBS, STIR IN PECANS. SET ASIDE.
    2. PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°. GREASE OR PAPER LINE 12 MUFFIN CUPS. SET ASIDE.
    3. COMBINE 1 CUP CHOCOLATE CHIPS, MILK AND BUTTER OVER HOT BUT NOT BOILING WATER IN A DOUBLE BOILER. STIR UNTIL CHOCOLATE IS MELTER AND MIXTURE IS SMOOTH.
    4. COMBINE FLOUR , SUGAR, BAKING POWDER, CINNAMON, PECANS AND REMAINING CHOCOLATE CHIPS IN A LARGE BOWL. STIR INTO FLOUR MIXTURE JUST UNTIL MOISTENED.
    5. SPOON IN MUFFIN CUPS, 2/3 FULL. SPRINKLE WITH TOPPING.
    6. BAKE FOR 2O TO 25 MINUTES, OR UNTIL TESTER COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL IN PAN FOR 5 MINUTES, REMOVE TO A WIRE RACK AND ALLOW TO COOL COMPLETELY.
    7. 12 MUFFINS
