DECADENT BROWNIE PIE
THIS IS A NEW TWIST ON THE CLASSIC BROWNIE, EXCEPT IT'S A PIE. THIS RECIPES COMES FROM THE EAGLE BRAND CREAMY CHOCOLATE SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK.
List of Ingredients
- 1 UNBAKED 9" PIE SHELL
- 1 CUP SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 1/4 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 1 ( 14 OUNCE CAN) EAGLE BRAND CREAMY CHOCOLATE SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
- 1/2 CUP BISQUICK BAKING MIX OR ANY BISCUIT BAKING MIX
- 2 EGGS
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACRT
- 1 CUP CHOPPED NUTS, YOUR CHOICE
- VANILLA ICE CREAM
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°. BAKE PIE SHELL FOR 10 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND REDUCE OVEN TEMPERATURE TO 325°.
- IN A SAUCEPAN, OVER LOW HEAT, MELT CHIPS WITH MARGARINE.
- IN A MIXER BOWL, BEAT CHOCOLATE MIXTURE WITH EAGLE BRAND CHOCOLATE SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, BISCUIT MIX, EGGS AND VANILLA UNTIL SMOOTH. ADD NUTS.
- POUR BATTER INTO PIE SHELL AND BAKE 35 TO 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL CENTER IS SET. SERVE WARM OR AT ROOM TEMPERATURE WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM. REFRIGERATE ANY LEFTOVERS.
- NOTE: YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE THE CREAMY CHOCOLATE SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK FOR THE ORIGINAL EAGLE BRAND SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, IF YOU CAN'T FIND IT.
