FUDGE PIE
List of Ingredients
- 3/4 CUPS BUTTER
- 3 ( 1 OUNCE EACH) UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE SQUARES
- 3 LARGE EGGS
- 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
- 3/4 CUPS FLOUR
- 1 TEASOON VANILLA
- 3/4 CUPS CHOPPED TOASTED PECANS DIVIDED
- VANILLA ICE CREAM
- CHOCOLATE TOPPING
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
- IN A DOUBLE BOILER, MELT BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE UNTIL MELTED, STIRRING OFTEN.
- BEAT EGGS ON MEDIUM SPEED IN MIXER BOWL FOR 5 MINUTES. GRADUALLY ADD SUGAR BEATING UNTIL WELL BLENDED. GRADUALLY ADD CHOCOLATE MIXTURE, FLOUR AND VANILLA, BEATING UNTIL BLENDED. STIR IN 1/2 CUP PECANS.
- POUR INTO A LIGHTLY GREASED 9" PIE PLATE AND BAKE FOR 35 TO 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL CENTER IS FIRM. REMOVE AND COOL.
- SERVE EACH SLICE WITH GOOD QUALITY VANILLA ICE CREAM AND SOME CHOCOLATE TOPPING, SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING CHOPPED PECANS.
