    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 CUPS BUTTER
    • 3 ( 1 OUNCE EACH) UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE SQUARES
    • 3 LARGE EGGS
    • 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
    • 3/4 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1 TEASOON VANILLA
    • 3/4 CUPS CHOPPED TOASTED PECANS DIVIDED
    • VANILLA ICE CREAM
    • CHOCOLATE TOPPING


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
    2. IN A DOUBLE BOILER, MELT BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE UNTIL MELTED, STIRRING OFTEN.
    3. BEAT EGGS ON MEDIUM SPEED IN MIXER BOWL FOR 5 MINUTES. GRADUALLY ADD SUGAR BEATING UNTIL WELL BLENDED. GRADUALLY ADD CHOCOLATE MIXTURE, FLOUR AND VANILLA, BEATING UNTIL BLENDED. STIR IN 1/2 CUP PECANS.
    4. POUR INTO A LIGHTLY GREASED 9" PIE PLATE AND BAKE FOR 35 TO 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL CENTER IS FIRM. REMOVE AND COOL.
    5. SERVE EACH SLICE WITH GOOD QUALITY VANILLA ICE CREAM AND SOME CHOCOLATE TOPPING, SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING CHOPPED PECANS.
