    KAHLUA PECAN PIE


    List of Ingredients


    • 9" FROZEN PIE CRUST. SET ASIDE
    • 1/4 CUP SWEET BUTTER
    • 3/4 CUPS SUGAR
    • 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
    • 2 TABLESPOONS FLOUR
    • 3 EGGS
    • 1/2 CUP KAHLUA
    • 1/2 CUP DARK CORN SYRUP
    • 3/4 CUPS EVAPORATED MILK
    • 1 CUP WHOLE OR CHOPPED PECANS
    • WHIPPED CREAM
    • PECAN HALVES


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°.
    2. IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, CREAM TOGETHER THE BUTTER, VANILLA AND FLOUR, MIX WELL TO BLEND.
    3. BEAT IN EGGS, ONE AT A TIME. STIR IN KAHLUA, CORN SYRUP, EVAPORATED MILK AND PECANS. MIX WELL.
    4. POUR INTO PIE PAN. BAKE FOR 10 MINUTES.
    5. REDUCE OVEN HEAT TO 325°. CONTINUE BAKING UNTIL FIRM, ABOUT 40 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND COOL. PLACE IN REFRIGERATOR TO CHILL.
    6. DOT WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND PECAN HALVES IF YOU WISH.
    7. SERVES 8 TO 10
