DEEP DISH PIZZA

- 1 LOAF RHODES BREAD DOUGH
- 3/4 CUPS PIZZA SAUCE
- TOPPINGS:
- PEPPERONI
- BROWNED ITALIAN SAUSAGE
- MEATBALLS
- SLICED GREEN PEPPERS
- SLICED MUSHROOMS
- SLICED RED ONIONS
- SLICED OLIVES
- SLICED TOMATOES
- 2 CUPS GRATED MOZZARELLA CHEESE
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°. LIGHTLY SPRAY A 12" DEEP DISH PIZA PAN.
- PRESS DOUGH INTO A BALL. ROLL ON A LIGHTLY FLOURED SURFACE INTO A 14" CIRCLE. PLACE IN PREPARED PIZZA PAN. LET RISE FOR 30 MINUTES. PREBAKE CRUST FOR 10 MINUTES.
- REDUCE OVEN TEMPERATURE TO 350°.
- SPREAD THE PIZZA SAUCE OVER CRUST. ADD DESIRED TOPPINGS AND TOP WITH MOZZARELLA CHEESE. BAKE FOR 15 TO 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED AND BUBBLY.

WHITE PIE
INSTEAD OF USING PIZZA SAUCE, YOU CAN MAKE A WHITE PIE, USING RICOTTA CHEESE, SPRINLE WITH SOME ITALIAN SEASONINGS AND SPRINKLED WITH MOZZARELLA CHEESE. ( THIS IS MY FAVORITE PIE)
