SIMPLE PIZZA SAUCE

- 28 OUNCE CAN ITALIAN PEELED TOMATOES WITH JUICE
- 4 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
- SALT TO TASTE
Instructions
- IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN, COMBINE TOMATOES, OIL AND SALT TO TASTE AND BRING TO A SIMMER.
- COOK, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY UNTIL THICKENED, ABOUT 15 TO 20 MINUTES. LET THE SAUCE COOL BEFORE SPREADING ON THE PIZZA DOUGH.
- NOTE: IF YOU PERFER A SMOOTHER SAUCE, BEFORE YOU COOK THEM, PASS THEM THROUGH A FOOD MILL WHICH REMOVE THE SEEDS AND GIVE YOU THE PULP ONLY.
