    List of Ingredients


    • 3 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
    • 3 TABLESPOONS DICED VIDALIA ONIONS OR REGULAR
    • 6 OUNCES FRESH CRAB MEAT OR CANNED
    • 1 FROZEN DEEP DISH PIE CRUST, THAWED
    • 1 1/2 CUPS GRATED SWISS CHEESE
    • 3 LARGE EGGS
    • 1 1/8 CUP HEAVY CREAM
    • 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
    • DASH OF CAYENNE PEPPER


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°.
    2. SAUTE ONIONS IN BUTTER IN A SKILLET FOR A FEW MINUTES UNTIL TENDER. ADD CRAB MEAT AND LET IT HEAT THROUGHOUT.
    3. SPRINKLE THE BOTTOM OF THE PIE SHELL WITH SOME PARMESAN CHEESE,LAYER THE CRAB AND ONION MIXTURE IN THE CRUST. PLACE THE GRATED CHEESE ON TOP OF THE CRAB.
    4. MIX EGGS TOGETHER WITH CREAM, SALT AND CAYENNE PEPPER. SLOWLY POUR OVER PIE INGREDIENTS.
    5. BAKE IN TOP PORTION OF OVEN FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 MINUTES OR UNTIL SET. ALLOW TO COOL BEFORE YOU SERVE.
