CREAM CHEESE QUICHE
List of Ingredients
- 1 FROZEN 8" PIE SHELL
- 1/2 SMALL ONION CHOPPED
- 8 OUNCES CREAM CHEESE, CUT INTO SMALL PIECES
- 1/4 POUND GRATED SWISS CHEESE
- 5 LARGE EGGS
- 1 CUP MILK OR HALF AND HALF
- BROWNED SAUSAGE, BACON, HAM, SEAFOOD, ETC ( ENOUGH TO COVER THE BOTTOM IN A SINGLE LAYER
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 425°.
- SAUTE ONION IN BUTTER UNTIL TENDER.
- COVER THE BOTTOM OF THE PIE CRUST WITH CREAM CHEESE,ADD THE MEAT OF YOUR CHOICE AND SAUTEED ONION AND TOP WITH GRATED SWISS CHEESE.
- MIX THE MILK AND EGGS AND POUR OVER THE TOP OF INGREDIENTS.
- BAKE FOR 15 MINUTES, REDUCE OVEN TEMPERATURE TO 350° AND CONTINUE BAKING FOR AN ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTES. LET REST BEFORE SERVING.
