    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER
    • 4 OUNCES OF CREAM CHEESE
    • 2 TABLESPOONS HEAVY CREAM
    • 1 1/4 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
    • 2 CUPS SHREDDED SWISS CHEESE
    • 3/4 CUP CHOPPED FROZEN SPINACH, THAWED AND DRAINED
    • 1/2 CUP COOKED, CRUMBLED BACON
    • 4 EGGS
    • 1 1/3 CUP HEAVY CREAM
    • 1/2 TEASPOON BASIL
    • /2 TEASPOON MARJORAM
    • SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
    2. CRUST:
    3. CREAM BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE WELL. BEAT IN CREAM AND WORK IN FLOUR AND SALT TO MAKE DOUGH. CHILL SLIGHTLY. ROLL PASTRY 1/8"THICK ON A WELL FLOURED BOARD, PLACE IN QUICHE PAN OR PIE PLATE. SET ASIDE. (OR IF YOU WANT YOU CAN USE A DEEP DISH FROZEN PIE CRUST)
    4. FILLING:
    5. PLACE CHEESE, SPINACH AND BACON INTO BOTTOM OF THE CRUST. BLEND TOGETHER EGGS, CREAM AND SPICES IN A MIXER AND POUR OVER MIXTURE IN CRUST.
    6. BAKE FOR APPROXIMATELY 50 MINUTES OR TILL SET. COOL 10 TO 20 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.
