IN A SMALL BOWL, COMBINE OIL AND 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR, ADD BUTTERMILK AND EGGS, MIXING WELL. STIR INTO DRY INGREDIENTS JUST UNTIL MOIST. FILL PREPARED LOAF PANS 1/3 FULL. SET ASDIE.
COMBINE THE CINNAMON AND REMAINING SUGAR, SPRINKLE HALF OVER BATTER. TOP WITH REMAINING BATTER AND CINNAMON SUGAR, SWIRL BATTER WITH A KNIFE. SPRINKLE WITH NUTS.
BAKE FOR 40 TO 45 MINUTES ( HALF THAT TIME FOR MINI LOAVES) OR UNTIL A CAKE TESTER INSERTED NEAR THE CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL IN PANS FOR 10 MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING TO A WIRE RACK.
