    BUTTERMILK CINNAMON BREAD

    READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE MAKING.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 CUPS FLOUR
    • 2 TEASPOONS BAKING SODA
    • 1 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1/2 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
    • 2 1/2 CUPS SUGAR DIVIDED
    • 2 CUPS BUTTERMILK
    • 2 EGGS
    • 1 TABLESPOON GROUND CINNAMON
    • 1 TO 2 TABLESPOONS FINELY CHOPPED NUTS, YOUR CHOICE


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. GREASE 2 ( 8 X 4 X 2" ) OR 5 ( 5 X 2") MINI LOAF PANS. SET ASIDE
    2. IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, COMBINE THE FLOUR, BAKING SODA AND SALT. SET ASIDE.
    3. IN A SMALL BOWL, COMBINE OIL AND 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR, ADD BUTTERMILK AND EGGS, MIXING WELL. STIR INTO DRY INGREDIENTS JUST UNTIL MOIST. FILL PREPARED LOAF PANS 1/3 FULL. SET ASDIE.
    4. COMBINE THE CINNAMON AND REMAINING SUGAR, SPRINKLE HALF OVER BATTER. TOP WITH REMAINING BATTER AND CINNAMON SUGAR, SWIRL BATTER WITH A KNIFE. SPRINKLE WITH NUTS.
    5. BAKE FOR 40 TO 45 MINUTES ( HALF THAT TIME FOR MINI LOAVES) OR UNTIL A CAKE TESTER INSERTED NEAR THE CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL IN PANS FOR 10 MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING TO A WIRE RACK.
    6. 2 LOAVES OR 5 MINI LOAVES
