CARROT BREAD
List of Ingredients
- 1 CUP SUGAR
- 3/4 CUPS APPLESAUCE
- 1/2 CUP EGG SUBSTITUTE
- 1/2 CUP CRUSHED PINEAPPLE IN JUICE DRAINED
- 1/2 CUP FLOUR
- 1 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
- 1 TEASPOON EACH BAKING SODA, BAKING POWDER, SALT, VANILLA EXTRACT AND CINNAMON
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED PECANS OR WALNUTS
- 1 CUP SHREDDED RAW CARROTS
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. LIGHTLY COAT A LOAF PAN WITH VEGETABLE SPRAY, DUST WITH FLOUR AND SET ASIDE.
- COMBINE THE SUGAR, EGG SUBSTITUTE AND APPLESAUCE IN BOWL, MIXING WELL TO COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS.
- COMBINE THE FLOUR, WHEAT FLOUR, BAKING SODA, BAKING POWDER, SALT AND CINNAMON MIXING WELL TO COMBINE ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS AND ADD TO THE APPLESAUCE MIXTURE.
- ADD THE CARROTS, PINEAPPLE, VANILLA AND NUTS. MIX WELL.
- POUR INTO PREPARED PAN AND BAKE FOR 50 MINUTES OR UNTIL TESTER COMES OUT CLEAN.
