List of Ingredients
- 2 EGGS
- 2 TABLESPOONS BAKING POWDER
- 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
- 2 TABLESPOONS HONEY
- 2 TABLESPOONS CRISCO OR LARD
- 1 CUP BUTTERMILK OR 4 TEASPOONS DRIED SACCO BUTTERMILK AND 1 CUP WATER MIXED WELL
- 1 CUP FLOUR
- 1 CUP CORNMEAL
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°. PREHEAT GREASED LOAF PANS, CORNBREAD PAN OR MUFFIN TINS FOR A FEW MINUTES IN OVEN.
- COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER, MIXING WELL. POUR INTO DESIRED PAN AND BAKE FOR 20 TO 25 MINUTES ( YOU CAN USE 2 MEDIUM LOAF PANS FILLED 1/2 WAY).
