TOMATO AND MOZZARELLA SALAD
FRESH TOMATOES OFF THE VINE TOSSED WITH SOME BASIL, FRESH MOZZARELLA AND EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL MAKES FOR A WONDERFUL SUMMER SALAD. (DO NOT REFRIGERATE). THIS SALAD IS BEST WHEN SERVED AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.
List of Ingredients
- 3 POUNDS FRESH RIPE TOMATOES, CUT INTO 1 1/2" CHUNKS
- 8 OUNCE PACKAGE MOZZARAELLA CHEESE, CUT INTO 1/2" CHUNKS
- 1 CUP LOOSELY PACKED FRESH CHOPPED BASIL LEAVES
- 3 TABLESPOON EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
- 3/4 TEASPOON SALT
- 1/4 TEASPOON COARSELY GROUND BLACK PEPPER
Instructions
- COMBINE IN A LARGE BOWL THE TOMATOES, MOZZARELLA, BASIL, OIL, SALT AND PEPPER TOSSING GENTLY UNTIL EVENLY BLENDED.
