VEGGIE CHEESE MELT
List of Ingredients
- 2 CUPS CHOPPED BROCCOLI FLORETS, STEAMED
- 1/2 CUP SHREDDED MOZZARELLA CHEESE
- 2 TABLESPOONS GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
- 1 1/2 TABLESPOONS FRESH BASIL CHOPPED
- 1 1/2 TEASPOONS FRESH THYME MINCED
- 1 1/2 GARLIC CLOVES, MINCED
- DASH FRESHLY GROUND BLACK PEPPER
- DASH OF SALT
- 4 OUNCE FRENCH BREAD
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°.
- IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE THE BRROCCOLI, CHEESES, BASIL, THYME, GARLIC, PEPPER AND SALT. SET ASIDE.
- SPLIT THE FRENCH BREAD LENGTHWISE ALMOST ALL THE WAY THROUGH, KEEPING BREAD INTACK. SPREAD OPEN AND FILL WITH THE MIXTURE. WRAP IN FOIL.
- BAKE UNTIL THE CHEESE IS MELTED, APPROXIMATELY 20 TO 25 MINUTES. CUT THE LOAF CROSSWISE INTO 4 PIECES.
