FIG SAUCE

- 2 1/2 TEASPOONS CORNSTARCH
- 1 TABLESPOON LEMON JUICE
- 1 1/2 CUPS UNSWEETENED PINEAPPLE JUICE
- 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
- 1 CUP DICED FIGS
- HONEY
Instructions
- IN A SAUCEPAN COMBINE CORNSTARCH AND LEMON JUICE. GRADUALLY STIR IN PINEAPPLE JUICE AND SALT. BRING TO A BOIL, STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
- TURN DOWN HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 5 MINUTES. STIR IN FIGS AND SIMMER 1 MINUTE. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND ADD HONEY.
- SERVE WITH A PORK ROAST OR MEATLOAF OR GRILLED CHICKEN.
