    • 2 1/2 TEASPOONS CORNSTARCH
    • 1 TABLESPOON LEMON JUICE
    • 1 1/2 CUPS UNSWEETENED PINEAPPLE JUICE
    • 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1 CUP DICED FIGS
    • HONEY


    Instructions


    1. IN A SAUCEPAN COMBINE CORNSTARCH AND LEMON JUICE. GRADUALLY STIR IN PINEAPPLE JUICE AND SALT. BRING TO A BOIL, STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
    2. TURN DOWN HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 5 MINUTES. STIR IN FIGS AND SIMMER 1 MINUTE. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND ADD HONEY.
    3. SERVE WITH A PORK ROAST OR MEATLOAF OR GRILLED CHICKEN.
