LEMON SAUCE

- 1 LEMON GRATED
- 3/4 CUPS SUGAR
- 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
- 1 EGG BEATEN
- 1/2 CUP WATER
Instructions
- CREAM TOGETHER THE BUTTER AND SUGAR IN A DOUBLE BOILER. ADD EGG AND LEMON RIND, STIRRING FREQUENTLY WITH A WIRE WHISK. COOK FOR A FEW MINUTES WHILE STIRRING. ADD ENOUGH WATER TO REACH DESIRED CONSISTENCY.
- POUR INTO CONTAINER AND REFRIGERATE. REHEAT BEFORE USING.
- USE THIS SAUCE OVER YOUR FAVORITE DESSERT.
