    List of Ingredients


    • 1 LEMON GRATED
    • 3/4 CUPS SUGAR
    • 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
    • 1 EGG BEATEN
    • 1/2 CUP WATER


    Instructions


    1. CREAM TOGETHER THE BUTTER AND SUGAR IN A DOUBLE BOILER. ADD EGG AND LEMON RIND, STIRRING FREQUENTLY WITH A WIRE WHISK. COOK FOR A FEW MINUTES WHILE STIRRING. ADD ENOUGH WATER TO REACH DESIRED CONSISTENCY.
    2. POUR INTO CONTAINER AND REFRIGERATE. REHEAT BEFORE USING.
    3. USE THIS SAUCE OVER YOUR FAVORITE DESSERT.
