APPLE GINGER SCONES

- 2 CUPS BISQUICK
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED PEELED APPLES
- 3 TABLESPOONS PACKED BROWN SUGAR
- 3/4 TEASPOON GROUND GINGER
- 1/3 CUP PLUS 1 TABLESPOON MILK
- 1 EGG
- MILK
- SUGAR
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 425°. GREASE COOKIE SHEETS AND SET ASIDE.
- MIX BISQUICK, APPLE, BROWN SUGAR, GINGER, MILK AND EGG UNTIL A DOUGH FORMS. LIGHTLY DUST WORK SURFACE WITH BISQUICK, TURN OUT DOUGH ONTO SURFACE AND SHAPE INTO A BALL AND KNEAD 10 TIMES.
- PAT DOUGH INTO AN 8" CIRCLE ON A COOKIE SHEET AND BRUSH WITH MILK AND SPRINKLE WITH SUGAR. CUT INTO 8 WEDGES.
- BAKE ABOUT 14 MINUTES OR UNTIL PUFFED AND GOLDEN BROWN.
