CREAMY LEMON SHERBET
List of Ingredients
- 1 CUP SUGAR
- 2 CUPS ( 1 PINT ) WHIPPING CREAM, UNWHIPPED
- 1/2 CUP REALEMON LEMON JUICE FROM CONCENTRATE
- FEW DROPS YELLOW FOOD COLORING, OPTIONAL
Instructions
- IN A MEDIUM BOWL, COMBINE SUGAR AND CREAM, BEATING UNTIL DISSOLVED. STIR IN LEMON JUICE AND FOOD COLORING. POUR INTO AN 8" SQUARE PAN OR DIRECTLY INTO SHERBET DISHES. FREEZE 3 HOURS OR UNTIL FIRM.
- REMOVE FROM FREEZER 5 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING. RETURN ANY LEFTOVERS COVERED TO FREZER.
