BAKED TOMATOES
List of Ingredients
- 4 MEDIUM TOMATOES, HALVED
- 1 TABLESPOON PLAIN DRIED BREAD CRUMBS
- 1 TABLESPOON GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
- 1/4 TEASPOON DRIED OREGANO
- 1/4 TEASPOON DRIED BASIL
- PINCH GROUND RED PEPPER
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 425°. SPRAY A 9 X 13" BAKING WITH A VEGETABLE COOKING SPRAY.
- CUT A THIN SLICE OFF BOTTOM OF EACH TOMATO HALF SO IT STANDS UPRIGHT, PLACE TOMATO HALVES IN PREPARED BAKING PAN.
- IN A SMALL BOWL, COMBINE BREAD CRUMBS, PARMESAN CHEESE, OREGANO,BASIL AND RED PEPPER, SPRINKLE EQUAL AMOUNTS OF MIXTURE OVER EACH TOMATO HALF.
- BAKE 15 TO 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOPPING IS GOLDEN BROWN.
