    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1/3 CUP CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR
    • 3/4 CUPS COLD BUTTER
    • 2 CUPS FIRMLY PACKED BROWN SUGAR
    • 4 BEATEN EGGS
    • 1 CUP FLAKED COCONUT
    • 1 CUP FINELY CHOPPED PECANS
    • 3 TABLESPOONS FLOUR
    • 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
    • ICING:D
    • 2 CUPS POWDERED SUGAR
    • 3 TABLESPOONS LEMON JUICE
    • 2 TABLESPOONS SOFT BUTTER


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. LIGHTLY GREASE A 9 X 13" BAKING PAN.
    2. IN A MEDIUM BOWL, COMBINE FLOUR AND POWDERED SUGAR, CUT IN 3/4 CUPS BUTTER UNTIL MIXTURE IS CRUMBLY.
    3. PRESS ONTO PREPARED BAKING PAN AND BAKE 15 MINUTES.
    4. IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE BROWN SUGAR, EGGS, COCONUT, PECANS, 3 TABLESPOONS FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER, MIX WELL. SPREAD EVENLY OVER BAKED CRUST AND BAKE 20 TO 25 MINUTES. COOL.
    5. IN A BOWL, MIX TOGETHER THE ICING INGREDIENTS UNTIL SMOOTH. SPREAD OVER TOP AND CHILL.
    6. CUT INTO BARS. STORE COVERED IN REFRIGERATOR.
    7. 36 BARS.
