    List of Ingredients


    • 1 PACKAGE WHITE CAKE MIX
    • 1 CUP CARMEL SAUCE
    • 2 EGGS
    • 1/2 CUP OIL
    • 1 CUP PECANS OR WALNUTS CHOPPEDD
    • 2 TABLESPOONS WATER
    • TOPPING:
    • 2 CUPS CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR
    • 4 TEASPOONS CARMEL SAUCE
    • 1/2 CUP BUTTER
    • 2 TABLESLPOONS MILK


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. LIGHTLY GREASE AND FLOUR A SHEET PAN 9 X 13".
    2. COMBINE THE CAKE MIX, CARMEL SAUCE, EGGS, OIL, NUTS AND HOT WATER UNTIL COMPLETELY MIXED.
    3. SPREAD MIXTURE INTO PREPARED PAN. BAKE 40 TO 60 MINUTES OR UNTIL CENTER IS FIRM. ( BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN THE EDGES, IF THAT HAPPENS, YOU CAN ALWAYS CUT THEM OFF). COOL ON A WIRE RACK.
    4. COMBINE THE CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR, CARMEL SAUCE, BUTTER AND MILK, MIXING WELL UNTIL SMOOTH.
    5. SPREAD ONTO COOLED BARS. CUT INTO SQUARES.
