List of Ingredients
- 1 CUP SUGAR
- 1 CUP LIGHT KARO SYRUP
- 1 1/2 CUPS PEANUT BUTTER
- 6 CUPS SPECIAL K CEREAL
- 12 OUNCE PACKAGE CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 6 OUNCE PACKAGE BUTTESCOTCH CHIPS
Instructions
- IN A MEDIUM SAUCE PAN BRING TOGETHER SUGAR AND KARO SYRUP TO A BOIL. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND ADD PEANUT BUTTER. STIRRING UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
- POUR THE CEREAL INTO A BUTTERED JELLY ROLL BAKING PAN AND POUR THE SYRUP OVER THE CEREAL AND STIR UNTIL IT IS WELL DISTRIBUTED, SPREAD MIXTURE EVENLY IN PAN. COOL.
- MELT CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND SPREAD OVER TOP OF CEREAL MIXTURE. THEN MELT THE BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS AND SWIRL INTO CHOCOLATE.
- REFRIGERATE AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE CUTTING INTO SQUARES.
